Summer 2010
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
As summer approaches, the thought of fresh garden vegetables on the table every night sounds amazing. And if you're like us, you don't have enough space for a decent size garden, or the time to give a garden proper attention.
Boyles Family Farms is a local farm in Gill, Colorado that participates in CSA. They grow numerous vegetables, herbs and flowers. The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a terrific way to not only support local, but to get the garden fresh vegetables that taste SO GOOD in the summer.
Please visit www.boylesfamilyfarms.com or contact Matt or Claire at 970.690.9945 for more information and details on how to sign up for a summer of fresh vegetables, herbs, flowers and more.
P.S. The Crabtree Brewing Company will be offering specials to Boyles Family Farm-CSA members that pick up on their goodies on Thursdays. We will also be having a “Recipe Share” on ways that you have used and would like to use your fresh vegetables.

Braggot Update
Crabtree Braggot is the brewery's 2nd beer in their 22oz line, with the first one being their Golden 8. Crabtree packaged 160 cases of this new ale. It was released May 1st for their third anniversary and is available throughout Northern Colorado.
Some information about the Braggot from Jeff Crabtree...
"The Braggot started as an Imperial Stout with a high OG, a massive amount of wildflower/orange blossom honey, and Colorado Grown Hops (that the brewery grew for this beer). The second running’s transformed into a dry, English Mild using the same hops that were used in the Imperial Stout. Before conditioning for a month, the two styles were blended together. The beer has been bottle aging since October 2008 at 45 degrees allowing the complex flavors to settle."
